The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing offers a unique combination of challenges, opportunities and aims to excel in the field of nursing education and research contributing to a wide range of care for women and children. The department provides courses for Diploma, UG and PG students related to obstetrics and gynaecological nursing within the framework of the curriculum plan in the college of nursing and expands academic excellence through collaborative research by meeting the national and international standards. The Obstetrics and Gynaecology nursing laboratory has an array of Models, Simulators, and Charts. The design of the lab is based on Objective Structured Clinical Examination with skill stations specifically for Birth Simulator and Episiotomy Suturing, Basic procedures. The students also have the dispensation of becoming familiar with the most sophisticated equipment and technology allied to client care, especially in our Antenatal Clinic, Labour room, postnatal ward, Gynaecology ward, Obstetrics and Gynaecology OT.<\/p>\n
