The Zoology department was established in 1997 with a strength of 21 students.Present strength of students is above 300 and two teaching and one non teaching permanent staff in department. B.Sc. T.Y. zoology with specialization Parasitology.
Zoology is one of the basic subject in Life Sciences.It is useful in various competitive exams like MPSC, UPSC,FOREST DEPT. ,NATIONAL PARKS, ZOO PARKS, VETERNARY etc. It is useful in self employment like- Poultry,dairy,fisheries, apiculture, sericulture, lac culture, wool industry and so on. It is also useful in medicinal studies,Parsitology,pests management etc.
