Honourable Dr. Dattabhau pathrikar established Nirmal Krida and samaj prabodhan trusts Arts, science and commerce college in the year 1997, with an aim to remove the backwardness of Marathwada region, with faculties namely Arts, Science and commerce. Since then the college is catering the needs of not only this region but the nation as a whole. The foresight, imagination and commitment of the Management to the cause of education is evident from the multidimensional expansion of the campus in general and the college in particular.

The intellectual infrastructure required for the progress of any nation is the knowledge of BASIC SCIENCES. The core subjects of Basic Sciences are PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS and LIFE SCIENCES. All the core subjects were started from the inception of the college. Hence the Department of PHYSICS was also established in the year 1997. The First Principal of the college Dr. Mrs. Pathrikar M.D. was a renowned Professor of Hindi.

The need of rural area is to starts the job oriented courses keeping this in mind. Hence highly job oriented course ELECTRONICS was started in the department of Physics in the year 2000. Our department is one of the FIRST to start the ELECTRONICS subject in the Badnapur Taluka. With the introduction of Electronics the number of students opting Physics has increased considerably.

Professors Dr. Surashe v. k. and Mr. Abdual Rahman Pathan are working in the department.

OBJECTIVES:
